1. Start with a magic ring.
2. With colour 1 work 10 sc into the ring. Close ring and sl st into the top of the first sc. (10)
3. Change colours if wanted and work in top of stitches of previous round.
*Ch 2, dc and hdc in next st, sl st into next st.* Repeat around to the end so you have 5 petals. Sl st into the bottom of the st of the first chain 2 of the round. Finish off and weave in ends.
Curly Daisy Flower
I used 8ply yarn and a 4mm hook. I left a long tail to sew the flower to a necklace.
Make 3
Start with a Magic ring.
1. 10 sc into ring. Ss into first sc. Close ring.
2. Chain 8, ss into same space.
3. Ss into next st, ch 8, ss into same space. Repeat around until you have 10 loops or petals.
Finish off and weave in ends.
Sew small buttons to the centre of the flowers if wanted.
Chain Necklace
I used 2 chain strands and then twisted them toether loosely. I used 8ply and a 4mm hook.
Chain the length you need in your first colour (I made the strands 110cm long to leave plenty of chain to tie together for the yarnbomb. Repeat in your second colour. Tie one end to the other in a knot. Twist the strands together before knotting the other end. Trim neatly or weave in if for a human.
If making a human necklace you might want to slip stitch the ends together to make a ring. Make sure it fits over your head!!
Putting it together
Work out where you want the flowers to fit on the necklace. Tie on and then sew on using matching thread. Sew through the chains as well. Ta dah!!! Yarnbomb or wear with joy!!
