I love colour! The colour palettes are made from available yarn colours from the Stylecraft Special DK acrylic range.
Advice for using colour palettes
The photo is an inspiration. It shows not only what colours, but how much of each is used to get the effect.
Some palettes have 2 versions for your consideration.
1. Palettes have 3 or more colours.
2. The colours are not set in stone: adapt, add, subtract, or choose your own colour adventures.
3. Use a neutral YOU like. Instead of White, there is Cream, Parchment, A Hint of Silver and more.
4. Play! I do recommend yarn pegs to help you make colour choices.
5. Choose the yarn brand and fibre and weight YOU want. This is a guide only.
Categories
These categories are to help you find a colour or style you are interested in. Many palettes will belong in several because they will have a mix of colours. (If this is overwhelming, why not start with 150 Favourites in the drop down menu under Colour Palettes?)
Copyright and Intellectual Property
Yes, you can copy and share on social media and use these palettes, but you cannot sell them or claim them as your own. I would appreciate a credit please (@queen_babs #queenbabscolours) because of the the time and effort it takes to make these palettes!
The photos remain the property of the owner. Most photos are mine, my husband's Martin Andersen, a friend or from Unsplash, Mokah and free commons downloads. Many thanks to all who generously shared their photographs for this colourful endeavour to inspire makers!
If any owner wishes me to remove their photo please contact me. Any slip ups with copyright are accidental.
