Yes, i have a knitting machine :)Be afraid, be very afraid... I have a knitting machine and I am NOT afraid to use it! You are safe at the moment while I learn to use it, helped greatly by the Mr and by new friends Anne & Michael who visited and got us started. Learning (and some cursing) has begun. Redfern will be covered in new yarnbombs as soon as possible. It makes me smile to think of all the new ideas I have bouncing around in my fevered imagination. I have been interviewed by the amazing Amanda at Red Agape. When she told me about her belief that craft can be used as therapy, I thought, YES! I have been doing this for years and so was thrilled to be her first interview. Click on The Red Agape screenshot to go to the blog or the Facebook page of Queen Babs to catch up with more photos and info! I am also continuing with my Just Little Things Blanket #justlittlethings and am pretty happy with it so far! One square a day for 2015 (sometimes more!) and already I can see it will be colourful and represent so many little moments in my life this year. And we added a new yarnbomb to Redfern... First we had to remove the old Cherry Blossom Yarnbomb and replace it with this one for my friend Sharon Kane. Sharon sent me the yarn and buttons as a gift which was wonderful. We used to spend hours and hours together being crafty before I moved to Sydney. She is in my thoughts continuously.
There is more happening, but no doubt that is enough for now! Happy crafting friends, Jane aka Queen Babs

Hi! I found you through Instagram - nice blog! How are you getting on with the knitting machine? I'm picking up my first machine tomorrow and worried about how steep the learning curve will be. Would love to hear any hints and tips you have for getting started! X
