Sunburst Bloom Pattern
by Queen Babs
I used 8 ply DK yarn and a 4mm hook. Any yarn with the appropriate hook size will work. Cotton yarn will give more definition to the flower and wool/acrylic will create a softer look.
US terms
Ss - slip stitch
Ch - chain
Sc - single crochet
Hdc - half double crochet
Dc - double crochet
Trc- treble crochet
St - stitch
Picot - chain 2 and slip stitch into the second chain from the hook.
Where possible crochet over ends so there are less to weave in.

Ch 3 (equals 1 dc), work 11 dc into the ring. Ss into top of ch 3. Finish off. (12)

Ch 2 (equals 1 hdc) and work 1 hdc into the same st. Work 2hdc in each of the following 11 sts. Finish off. (24)
