Morning everyone! Two of the three tree bases in the NCIE yarnbomb are finished! The last one has begun. This is quite a big job when you realise they are approximately 50cm wide and 180cm long or more! All knitted or crocheted by hand... The Rainbow tree, pictured left, is double crochet using 2 strands of 8 ply with a 4.5mm hook so it is thick and colourful. Rows of contrasting bobbles poke out in a pleasingly lumpy-bumpy way. Feeling like the slow but steady turtle eating up the centimetres stitch by stitch... Find colour in your life today! Queen Babs :)
